In this four-part teaching series, Joyce takes a closer look at the story Jesus told in Mark chapter 4 to help us understand wh
y some reach God’s best while others don’t.

You will learn…
-  How the parable of the sower (Mark 4) applies to your life today
-  How your commitment level to Christ affects God’s best for you
-  How to overcome the enemy’s tricks that cause you to settle for less
-  How to identify and prevent common distractions that keep God’s best out-of-reach"

I love Joyce Meyer's fantastic, down-to-earth, helpful and understandable preachings, and I suspect you will too.

"God’s plan for you doesn’t include prolonged periods of anxiety or worry. Yet, many Christians live their lives in fear. They expect disappointment instead of blessings.

There is a way to break free from negative thought patterns. But in order to live the free life God intended, you have to choose to put your faith in Him.

In this DVD message of truth, Joyce explains…
-  How worry starts and what feeds it
-  How expectations are part of your faith
-  How to recognize when you’re getting upset and what to do to calm down

Don’t let worry and anxiety rob you of your health, joy, peace and power another day. Stop receiving every thought that falls into your head, learn to take God at His Word and trust that He has a good plan for your life!"

This item is listed at the fair value of $20. For a limited time, it's available to you for any amount you give."

Grace from the Beginning: Stories from the Old Testament « Homeschool Freebie of the Day

© Mihailo | Stock Free Images

A wonderful Children's bible study for homeschoolers and others is being offered completely free for today and tomorrow only.
Jim Erskine found out about it and here's how he describes it:       "An extremely well-done 8 week study (courtesy of the Children’s Ministry team at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlottesville, VA) of Old Testament stories that operates on multiple levels.
There are the facts of the story and then the deeper truths that God uses to reveal Himself, emphasizing the foundational truth that the story of the Gospel is the story of God rescuing his people.
Lesson plans also include craft activities. Originally developed for use with Sunday Schools, this would also be great for a family bible study, home instruction and devotions. We found this on our all-time favorite Christianity & popular culture site Mockingbird Ministries."

Found Super Creation Vs. Evolution DVD!

It's called: Evolution:TheGrandExperiment and I saw it on the DVR I made of it long ago from Trinity Broadcasting Network, TBN, on my Dish Satellite System. It's fantastic! (See a sample of it from YouTube below, or follow the link above to go get it or check it out on their site for yourself.)

Noah and I really enjoyed the fantastic photography plus the interviews that make it perfect for homeschool to illustrate how there is more proof AGAINST the macro evolution theory. You will be amazed, I'll bet, as we were, even though we've been studying creation vs. evolution off and on for some time now.

Of course, the DVD and book are not free to buy, but well worth the price of admission. (No, I don't get a cut, lol.) If I could afford to get it right now I would, to use as a tool to gather new believers along with a homeschool resource!

They have a book too, which I REALLY want to get some day! (That's a picture of it above.)
