I will never forget the trip my grandmother took me on decades ago, where we went on a 2-week cruise and saw Ketchikan, Juneau, and quaint Sitka, not to mention the amazing Mendenhall Glacier. I'm including some photos I discovered from all over the place here on this blog entry because I don't have access to my trip photo album :( but these photos bring back some great memories. I'm planning and hoping to get this book to play with homeschooling with my kids re Alaska eventually. The activities will also bring back great memories for me (The totem poles on the Ketchikan book are the main thing that hit me about that visit, for instance. :)
